From baby bump to the first birthday.
The first year grows faster than you can watch. We hold on to the moments that never come back. Calm, warm and unhurried.

Four pages for your first year.
Like a baby record book: every session has its window. Book them one by one or spend the whole year with us.

around the 1st birthday
Length
about 1.5 hours
At home, in the studio or out in a meadow. With siblings, grandparents and cake.
The studio is warm. And quiet.
Newborns get cold quickly and sleep best with steady white noise. Our studio is set up for exactly that.
What we prepare
26 °C
Room temperature during newborn shoots
Freshly washed blankets and wraps
Fresh after every baby, no fragrance.
White noise
Helps them drift off, even between two pictures.
Nursing chair and changing table
Everything in one room, nothing to carry around.
What you bring
A full tummy
Ideally feed one more time right before the session.
Spare diapers and bottles
Just in case. You usually need more than you think.
Something personal
A cuddly toy, the hospital hat, the ultrasound picture.
Time
Better plan an extra hour. We have it.
First times.
The first trip, the first fall leaves, the first race against big sister. Babies turn into little people fast.
First flower meadow
First fall leaves
First race
First outing
Trained in safe newborn posing.
Behind the camera.
I have photographed babies for more than ten years and have two children myself. I know how the first weeks feel: little sleep, lots of love and hardly a free moment.
That is why nothing takes longer than it needs to, and nothing gets rushed either. No baby is forced into a pose. If they don’t want to sleep, we take a break.
Hygiene
Fresh linen for every baby
Safety
A hand close by in every pose
Calm
One session a day, never two
Questions from the baby group.
Answers to what other parents wanted to know before their session.
What if the baby comes early?
Then we move the session. Just get in touch shortly after the birth and we will find a day in the first two weeks.
Does my baby have to sleep the whole time?
No. Awake babies are just as lovely. Sleep helps for the curled-up poses, so we plan plenty of time.
Can siblings come along?
Absolutely. Ideally at the start, so they can go for a walk with one parent after the photos together.
When will I see the pictures?
About two weeks after the shoot. You get an access code and pick your favorites in peace.
Book a session. Right here.
Choose the photos, then a free day. For newborns we hold a spot around the due date and set the exact day after the birth.
Just add your due date to the message in the last step.
