If you photograph hundreds of children in a single day, the evening brings one huge job: matching the pictures to the right names. Paper lists and handwritten notes cost hours. The QR photo card takes exactly that part off your hands.

The challenge on site during the photo day

A typical photo day demands full concentration. Between two children you have seconds. Noting names on the side or sorting from memory later produces mistakes, and mistakes mean complaints.

Scanner systems demand a second device on set: a reader or a radio transmitter on the camera. That costs money, needs charging and interrupts the contact with the child.

The alternative: the card in the frame

You print one card with a QR code per child, plus a group card. The card is shot with the same camera as the child. No further technology is needed.

Step-by-step guide

1. Print the cards: print the QR photo cards in the job dashboard, one per child plus the group card. Normal paper is fine. You design layout and logo in the card designer.
2. Shoot the card: when a child steps in front of the camera, take one shot of its card first. One click is enough; the card should fill roughly a sixth of the frame.
3. Take the photos: after that you focus entirely on the child. Everything shot until the next card belongs to that child. The group card comes before the group photo.
