Pages & Menus

Besides the home page your shop needs legal notice, privacy, terms and usually a contact page. You create pages under Pages, design them in the shop designer and link them via menus.

The page list

Under Pages lie all pages of your shop. The home page sits at the top and leads into the shop designer.

Published and draft

Only published pages are reachable in the shop and in the sitemap. Drafts only you can see.

Create a page

Title and address, then straight into the designer. The content is created there.

Enter the title. The address (slug) is created automatically, umlauts are rewritten.

Published and Add to menu are preselected. Deselect if the page should become visible later.

“Create & design in the designer” opens the empty page in the shop designer.

Ready blocks in the designer

Under Blocks lie page templates: contact with form, about, legal for legal notice and privacy, FAQ, portfolio, appointments. Insert the block, replace the texts, publish.

Change title and address

“Edit” opens only title, slug and visibility. The design you change via “Designer”. Attention: a changed address invalidates old links.

Legal pages

Legal notice, privacy policy and terms are ordinary pages. Pixalo provides the layout, the texts come from you or your legal adviser. Link all three in the footer menu, then they are reachable throughout the shop.

The shop is complete.
