Pixalo App (optional)
optionalYou do not need an app for photo day. The Pixalo app is an assistant on the go: it shows cards on the display, imports lists by camera, checks cards and reports orders. Photos are not uploaded in the app.
Installation and login
Free in the App Store and on Google Play. Login with the same credentials as the dashboard.
Login
Email and password as in the dashboard. If two-factor login is enabled, the app asks for the code from the email.
Face ID and fingerprint
Optional in the settings. The app stays signed in and protects itself on opening.
Team access
Staff only see what their permissions allow. The Orders tab appears only with approval.
The four areas
The app has a bar with four tabs.
Jobs
Choose a job or create a new one directly, including the client. Then see groups and children, show cards, scan lists.
Card check
Scan a card and immediately see which child and group it belongs to. Starts nothing, only checks. Below it the job state: list, cards, photos, unassigned, gallery.
Orders
All orders with status and payment method. Push notification for every new order, switchable in the settings.
Profile
Language, notifications, Face ID, support, sign out.
What the app can do on photo day
Three tools that do not work in the browser.
Card on the display
Tap a child, choose “Card”. The QR code fills the screen. Photograph the display full frame, keep it flat, avoid reflections. Rescues forgotten or lost cards.
Import a list by camera
Photograph the group's paper list. The app reads the names, you check the preview, the children are created. Latecomers also one by one by hand.
Print cards on site
Via AirPrint or a network printer. The same photo cards as in the dashboard, same template.
Who has been photographed
A tick list per group on the device. A pure memory aid, not transferred to the dashboard.
