General
Business name, shop URL, logo, favicon and theme.

- 1Business name: appears in the shop, in emails and on cards. Below it the current shop URL.
- 2Branding: logo (200×60 px) and favicon (32×32 px) from the media library. Size and position of the logo you set in the shop designer.
- 3Theme selection: Modern or Basic. Colours you change in the shop designer.
Security
Two-factor login, password and the danger zone.

Two-factor authentication
By email code, no app needed. On activation we send a 6-digit code, valid for 10 minutes. Afterwards every login also asks for the code. Deactivating requires your password.
Change password
Current password, new password twice. At least 8 characters with upper and lower case, number and special character.
Delete account
Deletes your account and all data after the legal retention period. Requires the word LÖSCHEN. Only the owner sees this area.
Company
The company data from the setup wizard, changeable any time. It appears on invoices, credit notes and cards.

Legal form
Sole proprietor with owner name and optional business designation, or company with company name.
Contact information
Email, address, postcode, city, country, state or canton, phone, website.
Tax information
Tax number, VAT ID and tax office. The labels follow the country. “Show on invoices” controls whether the numbers are printed.
Shipping
One shipping price for all orders with prints or gifts. Download-only orders pay no shipping.

Standard shipping costs
One amount per order. The switch “Enable shipping costs” turns it on or off, e.g. if you only sell downloads or offer pickup.
Free shipping
From a goods value shipping is free. A proven incentive for packages.
No shipping zones
Language
Two languages, two effects.

Dashboard language
The language of your interface: Deutsch, English, Nederlands, Español. Applies only to you. The page reloads after saving.
Shop default language
The language for online shop, customer emails and PDF invoices. A change asks first, because invoices already created stay in the old language.
Marketing emails
The defaults for reminder emails of new events, and a report of what the reminders brought.

Default for new events
After code delivery, before gallery close, last day, voucher expires, each with days. When activating an event these values are suggested and can be changed there per event.
Reminders & conversion
Date, event, type, emails sent, orders and revenue afterwards. This shows which reminder works.
Legal
An overview of the contracts you concluded with Pixalo: data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR and terms of use, with date, version and download.

Legal notice, privacy, terms of your shop
Team
Under Team you invite photographers and define what they may see. The owner keeps all rights.

- 1Invite photographer: first name, last name, email, optional two-factor. The invitation link is valid for 72 hours.
- 2Studio default for photographers: the permissions every new access inherits.
Permissions
Events, gallery delivery, orders, products, customers, statistics, discount codes, appointments, shop design. Within events fine-grained: prices, status, delete, rename, date, watermark, access codes, delete content.
Adjust per person
“Manage permissions” overrides the studio default for one person. “Reset to studio default” takes it back. Deactivating ends all sessions of the person.
The photographer account
An invited photographer sees a smaller Pixalo. The studio settings stay with the owner, the personal account belongs to the photographer.

Accepting the invitation
The invitation arrives by email and is valid for 72 hours. The photographer sets their own password. If two-factor was required on the invite, it is set up at the first login.
What is visible
Only the released areas. Settings, team, subscription and compliance stay hidden. If someone types the address by hand, they land back on the dashboard.
Account and security
Every photographer changes their password there and switches on two-factor sign-in. The danger zone is missing: only the owner can delete an account.
When someone leaves
Deactivating ends all sessions at once and keeps the history. Permanent deletion is possible only afterwards and only for the owner. Photos and events stay.
Currency & Tax
Currency, price entry, small business exemption and the tax rates of your sales countries. Everything in one place, everything live in the shop right away.

Currency
Euro, franc, dollar or pound for all prices and payments. The symbol sits left or right of the amount.
Price entry
Prices incl. tax: you enter gross prices, common in the EU and UK. Prices excl. tax: you enter net prices, tax is added in the cart, common in the US. Switching changes no saved number, only its meaning. That is why Pixalo asks first.
Small business exemption
Active means: no tax in the shop, no tax on invoices, the mandatory note is added automatically. The name follows your country.
Countries & tax rates
Which countries your customers can pick at checkout and which rate applies there. The rate comes from the country of the shipping address.
